Jeanne Klinefelter Wilson, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy
Jeanne Klinefelter Wilson is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy of the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). As Deputy Assistant Secretary, Ms. Wilson directs the policy, legislative, and research functions of EBSA. She serves as liaison to other government agencies and the private sector on a variety of issues relating to ERISA.
Before her appointment as Deputy Assistant Secretary, Ms. Wilson served as counsel to plan sponsors and fiduciaries for over fifteen years. Prior to her graduation from law school, Ms. Wilson worked for seven years at a national accounting firm where she audited employee benefit plans and provided employee benefit plan compliance advice. Ms. Wilson graduated magna cum laude from University of Houston Law Center in 1994. She is also a graduate of Auburn University.
