Why did you choose this particular business/industry

My passion has always been helping companies grow and innovate. Particularly in supporting other women. I started the law firm 7 years ago with the goal of helping women business leaders to start and grow extraordinary companies. In my hiring I focus on promoting diversity, women of color, women part of the LGBTQ community, and moms that need flexible schedules. I am deeply passionate about working with visionaries who are leaders in their field. I was luckily very successful doing just that and Gouchev Law grew exponentially. I now have the luxury of choosing our clients. The clients I work with are genuinely great, smart people who are open to executing on the counsel they receive.

Who is your ideal client?

Our clients are business leaders, whether it’s CEOs and other C-level execs or general legal counsel in house that hire us to provide additional support. We focus on professional consulting companies, as well as general legal counsel to businesses in the technology, media, fintech, retail, fitness, and entertainment spaces.

What would your clients say about you?

The consistent feedback I hear from clients is that me and my team are fast, dedicated, honest and relationship focused. My client reviews usually talk about the confidence they feel from having me be their counsel. Their trust and kind words inspire me every day to do what I do.

What do you love about your life?

I love my work, my family, the flexibility I’ve created to live a good life, and most importantly the relationships I’ve built that help me through the good and the bad.

Why did you join NAWBO?

I feel so intimately alined with NAWBO’s mission -helping women grow their businesses is my passion and my career. There are many organizations out there, but I chose NAWBO because it feels closest to my heart. I want to provide support to a group of like minded women in whatever way I can, whether it’s brainstorming and providing support on political initiatives to sharing my network with the members and volunteering.
