About this Event
The best way to get to know other women business owners is by discussing the issues that impact WOBs the most: growing your business, work/life balance, setting and reaching goals, and dealing with tough business challenges.
During this breakfast meeting, you will be split into groups of 3–4 women and given 10–15 minutes to discuss a particular topic, and then repeating the process three more times, with different groups and topics.

The Trust Bae launch will be a unique cocktail experience that provides guests with a preview of the space. Guests will be immersed in the festival of the flowers with beautiful flowers adorning the space. NAWBO will start the conversation with Chef, Erika, Shunan and NAWBO member to discuss the female incubation. Food at the event will include passed bites, curated by Chef Frances to showcase some favorites from her menu. The food will provide a preview for those looking to return to the space and engage in the Omakase style experience. Guests will be offered an incentive to return to the restaurant at a later date. There will be paired cocktails showcasing the Hendricks limited release gin, “Hendricks Flora Adora”, that permeates the idea of flowers, with the gin garnering flavor from seven florals including Rose Petals, Hibiscus and Lavender. Guests will be immersed in a live tea ceremony with bespoke teas from Tea Drunk, the female led tea company. The cocktail menu will feature unique specialty tea-cocktails and mocktails for guests to enjoy. This is an exclusive and limited seat event.
About Simple Venue & Trust Bae
Simple Venue is led by female powerhouse Erika London. Their skill is transforming underutilized spaces into revenue generating ones. They curate unique collaborations between innovative gastronomy and uniquely memorable dining experiences.
Simple Venue’s newest creation is Trust Bae, a female inclusivity incubator headed by celebrity chef Frances Tariga. The goal of Trust Bae is to provide a unique opportunity for women, in a male dominated industry, to showcase their talents.
Chef Frances Tariga hails from humble beginnings in the Philippines. She quickly rose up the ladder, becoming the private chef to royalty in the UAE. Her journey ultimately led her to the United States, where she has starred in Top Chef, and worked as Chef de Cuisine at some of New York’s finest establishments including Budakan, Catch and Eden.

Join us on March 29, 2023, for the NAWBO NYC Women of Power Dinner featuring New York City Councilwoman Julie Menin, Chair of Small Business Committee along with Vice President of Advocacy, Vivian Mandala and Vice President of Membership, Neena Dutta as they discuss the city’s small business agenda and support for all women business owners.
Event will be hosted at Bobby Van’s in the heart of Times Square. Ticket includes access to networking, panel discussion, award-winning dinner with drinks.
