Why did you choose this particular business/industry
Growing up caring about the environment led to discovering the field of corporate responsibility in college. In my career and in my master’s program I kept bumping against how much of CSR/sustainability/ social impact was focused on large, well -established companies. I wanted to give smart sustainability solutions to small and medium-sized businesses so they could reap the same benefits-cost savings, employee engagement, higher growth potential- as larger businesses.
Who is your ideal client?
My ideal client is a business owner or investor that understands the value of sustainability to their business but needs help with the application. They’ve got a growing team, they’re selling to millennials and they’re thinking about their long term impact on people and the planet. They want to uncover the high value sustainability can bring to their business without feeling overwhelmed or like they aren’t moving the needle.
What would your clients say about you?
They would say that I’m interested in linking sustainability to their long term goals and focused on how it applies to their specific business. I really want to get to know them and their business in order to uncover the best strategy for them. They would also probably say that I’m always asking a lot of questions because I love to learn, about sustainability, business strategy, everything!
What do you love about your life?
I love that I constantly get opportunities to learn and I love that so many people are seeing the value sustainability can bring to their business! I love that I get to talk and share its benefits with others every day.
