Why did you choose this particular business/industry?
“I have always loved walking into a residential or commercial space for the first time and editing it in my mind’s eye. This is a habit I began developing as a child. I chose to be an interior designer so that I could move from imagining redesigns to actual implementation. It’s definitely rewarding to transform a bland or underperforming space into a functional one that reflects my client’s unique sense of style and personal brand.”
Who is your ideal client?
“My ideal client is someone who wants to shop her home first before replacing everything. I love working with people who are open to a “use what you have” approach as a starting place but also are excited about bringing in new pieces and accessories as needed. Most rewarding are clients who have postponed making improvements and are so excited to finally get started.”
What would your clients say about you?
“I’m a good listener, and I ask all the right questions. This lays the groundwork for a successful design project. It reveals important information about the client that helps streamline the process and lets us arrive at the best design solutions tailored just for them.”
What do you love about your life?
“I love that I live in New York which has so many design and cultural resources readily available to spark creativity. From sidewalk artists to luxury furniture showrooms, there’s never a shortage of design inspiration to share with my clients.”
