MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Vivian Mandala

We eliminate the obstacles New York City Contractors, specifically Women Based Enterprises (WBE) and Minority Based Enterprises (MBE), are confronted with every day through networking, capacity building and coaching.

Why did you choose this particular business/industry

It chose me! After college I worked for a few Interior Design & Architecture firms, but I always ended up in the field. Creating plans in a digital space isn’t the same as physically building something. There is something magical about creating something that wasn’t there before. Almost 25 years later, a construction site is still one of my favorite places to be.

Who is your ideal client?

WBE or MBE Contractor in NYC.

What would your clients say about you?

“It’s a pleasure to express my deep gratitude to Vivian for her knowledge, wisdom and amazing experience in helping me and my business. She’s not only assisted in identifying weak areas within my business, she’s help me develop the needed tools to make changes, to make hard choices and helped wash away the fear of stepping out of my comfort zone.” Diane Nelson – Logix Design

What do you love about your life?

My family, my work and my city. I’m exactly where I should be, doing the exact work I should be doing. Knowing that is powerful.
